International Day of the Deaf 2025

On 30th September 2025, Ferrando Speech and Hearing Centre proudly celebrated the International Day of the Deaf with a programme that was both enriching and deeply moving.
We were blessed with the gracious presence of our Chief Guest, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Shri. Dr. Ricky Andrew J. Syngkon, whose inspiring words filled the gathering with hope and encouragement. His presence was a reminder that true leadership lies in uplifting every section of society, especially those whose voices are often unheard.
The highlight of the celebration was the musical drama, “Beyond Silence”, presented by our talented students. Through music, movement, and powerful expression, the performance carried a message that silence is not emptiness but a space where resilience, courage, and beauty thrive. The drama touched every heart, reminding us that beyond silence lies strength, dignity, and dreams waiting to be realized.
The event concluded with the much-awaited drawing of the lottery tickets, which added joy and excitement to the day. This moment of celebration brought smiles and togetherness, making the day even more memorable for all present.
The International Day of the Deaf 2025 at Ferrando was not just an occasion but a heartfelt call to break barriers, to listen with compassion, and to celebrate the limitless potential of every individual—beyond words, beyond silence.
