World Environment Day

In honor of World Environment Day, Ferrando Speech and Hearing Centre Umniuh-Khwan, celebrated the occasion in a fitting manner for the students. The day began with a short program at 9:15 a.m. to mark the importance of the day. Students performed a dance, a short skit and delivered speeches by Sr.Maya Pohshna and Ms.Carolyne Buhphang also addressed the gathering. This was followed by a tree planting activity in the school campus.

After a short break at around 10:50 a.m. two competitions were held: a Drawing competition for classes Nursery to IV and an extempore speech competition for classes V to XII. These events concluded by 12:00 p.m. follewed by lunch break.

At 1:00 p.m. students from classes X and XII were given the opportunity to present their extempore speeches. The program concluded at 2:00 p.m. followed by prize distribution ceremony which ended by 2:20 p.m. afterward students were dismissed.
